It is 295km from Athens, 370km from Thessaloniki. and from the city of Lamia 75km. while it is the only urban center of the prefecture.<\/p><p>Between mountain peaks, next to gurgling rivers, in the center of an area with imposing and evocative at the same time natural beauty, <strong>Karpenisi<\/strong> managed to balance between authenticity and development.<\/p><p>Here, you feel that you are in a truly &#8220;virgin&#8221; nature: the vegetation is orgiastic, the landscape untouched, the villages forgotten by time, the &#8220;offspring&#8221; of life alive.
